This past year my husband was not able to live with me any more as his dementia became too far progressed. I kept him home for as long as possible, but he kept getting out of the house and trying to drive the car places. He's quite happy in the centre that we found in the end and he likes all the activities that they have set up. I miss the life I had with him, but I am glad he is happy and safe in the assisted living home.
